When I first visited Steven Hale Hearing I was suffering from intrusive tinnitus after an accident at work and never having had tinnitus before I experienced insomnia due to the awfull noise, this brought on low mood and anxiety, so I was in a sorry state and had been off work for months.He advised sound generating ear pieces which helped with the insomnia and dialled out the worse of the tinnitus and even though I was seeing a therapist by then he gave me sound advice on how to deal with the phychological side of the tinnitus. He is very professional and I thank him here for his help as I am now back at work and coping again.

My first visit today for a complete audio 'MOT', with wax checking and clearance and tests for deafness and tinnitus. Steve did a great job. He is highly professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. Today was by far the best and most expert wax removal process I've ever experienced! I'll be using Steve again when I need to and would recommend SHH without reservation.

I had an appointment with Steven Hale today and can now hear clearly for the first time in months! I was given a consultation beforehand and felt that he really listened and noted what I said. The procedure was very thorough and painless and I was provided with with before and after pictures. I was left well satisfied with my treatment.

I have been wearing hearing aids, private and NHS, for nearly 50 years and suffer from severe hearing loss. Steven is the first Audiologist to get my settings almost perfect first time. In addition, I had been previously persuaded to no longer invest in private aids when I retired as they would not be worth it. Steven fitted a pair of high end aids under trial conditions and the difference was dramatic. Coupled with other support equipment I am now enjoying quality music again and watching TV programmes without subtitles. Telephone conversations are no longer a strain. Steven also dealt with a difficult problem for my daughter. He is notably not satisfied with only giving you quality hearing but works very hard to ensure you get maximum benefit from the amazing technology that is available.

By far the best place you could ever go for any ear problem. I had some pretty severe wax build up and my GP was taking way too long to help me. So I went here and it took literally a few minutes for my hearing to come back and no pain left! My hearing has never been this good, even before the impacted wax! Steven Hale was very friendy, he is such a proffesional and you can really tell how much knowlegde he has when it comes to his work. The staff were all very friendly and you could clearly see that they enjoy being there. Definitely recommending this place and this will certainly be my first choice when dealing with any ear problem in the future.

Having used the NHS hearing service for fifteen years I realized that despite wearing aids I was still partially deaf in some situations - especially in a group of people. Having researched on the web realized that there are improved aids on the market that can offer much better clarity and also adapt to social situations. Visited Steve after reading his reviews and initially balked at the price of the state of the art rechargeable aids , so went to a local well advertised audiology centre instead - big mistake. Soon realised that the experience and care that Steve offers cannot be replicated and the same hearing aids are now functioning at a much improved level. Thank you Steve for all your patience.

Excellent service from Steven, i managed to get a next day appointment after an issue with blocked ears, I have been to my local GP Many times to have my ears cleaned but nothing comes close to the treatment Steven applies.Using state of the art equipment Steven showed me the problems within my ear and treated accordingly with before and after pics. Safe to say my hearing is back to full working order and my ears feel as clean as a baby's.Thank god for the internet in allowing me to find Steven. i want to give 6 stars but the option is not there. Thank you once again Steven and i will be certain to see you again for regular checkups moving forward.

So glad I found Steven Hale - after having very blocked up ears for a while and faced with a long wait for nhs treatment I googled ear microsuction in my area and came up with several choices. I went for the cheaper options to start with and wish I hadn't wasted my time - very difficult to get hold of anyone and impossible to get an appointment within a 4 week timeframe! Steven Hale's website also popped up on google and after speaking to a very helpful receptionist I was booked in to see him for microsuction within a day. The clinic I went to on the Tamworth Road was very easy to get to and park, and Steven was very understanding and knowledgeable and sorted my blocked ears without any discomfort at all. Kids and hubby are relieved that they don't have to keep repeating themselves to me now I can hear again and the kids loved looking at the before (very gunky) and after (clean as a whistle) photos of the procedure that Steven includes on an email. Such a relief to know there is someone reliable that I can go to quickly whenever I need help again.

A truly personalised service delivered with patience and care. What a difference it has made to my mum. Her hearing will never be 100% but now she can hear the birds tweet and, most importantly, me over the phone! The price is high but matched by an improvement in quality of life which mum wasn’t able to attain on the NHS. No disrespect to the NHS either - care has been great but within the limitations of resource. Thank you Steven. We are so grateful.

I could write a thousand words about why you should visit Steven if you have problems with ear wax build up. I have suffered for years with persistent wax in my ears, periods of temporary deafness and tinnitus, back and fore to the doctors for unhelpful ear irrigation. That was until I read about a new way of cleaning out your ears called micro-suction. After a great amount of research, I opted to go and see Steven Hale in Sutton Coldfield and my experience was first class from start to finish.Upon booking my appointment, the receptionists were friendly and professional and seemed genuinely keen to find out exactly what was wrong and if a consultation was appropriate. Steven also called me back in person to confirm the issue and to advise me on what to before my visit. The level of aural knowledge, skill and expertise exhibited by Steven was fascinating and more importantly reassuring. I had a completely wax-covered ear drum in my left ear causing total deafness and tinnitus, my right ear had a solid ball of wax the size of a cashew nut lodged deep in the ear canal. Steven easily removed the wax from the left ear with microsuction and then on my second visit, finally managed to remove the huge lump of wax from my right ear. I can comfortably say I've never heard as well as I have now. This is all down to Steven's expertise.The skill and professionalism of Steven is one thing, but what's more comforting is his utter confidence in his ability at what he is doing, it's this kind of confidence that is often missing whenever I've visited a GP surgery to see a Nurse with an ear irrigator.It's this utmost confidence that puts your mind at ease when you visit, and this is why I can whole-heartedly recommend him and his team.

I looked at Steven Hales website and reviews before I booked an appointment. As the reviews were good I went ahead and booked. I have never had micro suction done before, only syringing of the ears by my doctors surgery. but they don't offer this service anymore. I was very impressed with his service. He takes a photo of the inner ears so you can see for yourself what is blocking them. I came away with crystal clear hearing so would recommend him highly.Satisfied customer Shareen Harte

Highly recommended. I needed ear wax removal which is no longer provided by my GP. Steven was most professional, explained the procedure clearly and used the latest technology. He even showed me live pictures inside my ears!! That's a first for me. I would not hesitate to go back in the future.

I purchased my first pair of hearing aids from Steven Hale Hearing five years ago and have recently bought some more. I have been very satisfied with all aspects of the service he provides. Steven has a good understanding of the technology of hearing aids and takes the time to explain everything you need to know to get the best out of your aids. Phone calls are dealt with promptly and on the rare occasion I have had problems with the hearing aids he has always seen me quickly to resolve the issue. A very friendly, professional service and I highly recommend him. Like a lot of people I was initially reluctant to use hearing aids but they have transformed my life. I no longer worry about social occasions and it’s good to hear birds sing when I go for a walk!
