Will a hearing test check my balance?

A standard hearing test (audiometry) does not include balance testing. However, if you are experiencing symptoms of dizziness or vertigo, please tell your us, and we can discuss referring you for specialist vestibular (balance) assessments if needed.

What preparation do I need before my hearing test appointment?

Very little preparation is needed. We ask that you try to avoid very loud noise exposure for approximately 16 hours before your appointment. If you suspect you have a build-up of earwax, please let us know when booking, as this may need to be removed first & we can allow more time to do this within the appointment.
