After Care Package
Service and Warranty Plan Benefits
Following your 90 minute Audiological Assessment and purchase of our recommended Hearing Aid,
this after care package now applies.
Aftercare includes
All servicing, repairs, fine tuning. All completed by a Qualified & Registered Hearing Aid Audiologist.
Hearing aids will be fitted & verified using Real Ear Measurements, which is the most accurate way to ensure that your hearing instruments are fitted correctly to your hearing prescription. (Minimum 60 Minute Appointment).
- Manufacturer’s warranty on hearing instruments
- 2 and 4 Week Post Fitting Review. This allows us to tune your hearing aids as needed, check the fitting and function of your aids and ensure correct usage (30 minutes per appointment).
- 3 Month Post Fitting Review. It is well documented that it takes the brain up to 3 months to fully acclimatise to a set of hearing instruments, so at this appointment we will check your settings, making any changes to the programs or volume needed. As well as checking the function of the aids, ensure you are happy with daily and weekly servicing and we will check your ears for any wax/debris build-up and clear as needed. (30 Minutes).
- 6 Month Review. We re-check your hearing instruments and ears, making any adjustments, mini service on instruments and change any parts which may be showing signs of wear. (30 Minutes).
- 12 Month Review. Similar to the 6-month review, however we will also re-test your hearing and reprogram your instruments to meet any changes in your hearing, thus ensuring your instruments are always giving you the maximum benefit possible. (30-60 Minute appointment).
- Ear Wax Removal. We are qualified in Microsuction, and Irrigation Wax Removal techniques. If your ears are clogged or becoming clogged with wax then we will remove this as required. You are entitled to 2 Complimentary Wax Removal Appointments per year.
- Spare Set of Receiver Wires. In our experience Receiver Wire are the most vulnerable component part of your Hearing Aids Ergo we issue you with a spare set for you to change yourself in the event of failure. Subsequently please return any faulty receiver wire which will be replaced. This saves any Hearing Aid downtime and the necessity of a clinical appointment.
- Holiday Loan. We will loan you a pair of hearing instruments of equal or higher quality for you to take away on holiday, so if you do suffer a malfunction or loss, there is no interruption to your hearing wellbeing.
