What exactly is a ‘referral scheme’?
The technical definition is that it a referral scheme is an “…incentivised initiative for existing customers to introduce their family, friends and contacts to become new customers…”. What this really means is that it is a word-of-mouth endorsement that is passed on from one person to another, based on a positive and successful experience. It is enhanced by the fact that there is often a reward included for one of the parties!
What is Steven Hale offering?
Steven’s reputation thrives on his satisfied customers enthusing to their family and friends about how caring, professional and accurate his consultations are – you’d be surprised how many times he gets talked about at the Golf Club! Whilst this is great “PR” for him, his driving force is helping people create a safer, more sociable lifestyle, where everyone has the best chance possible to be fully active and included. However, as we have said previously, the purchase of hearing aids is generally perceived to be a ‘grudge buy’, and not something that we aim for, or aspire to. Bearing this in mind, Steven ensures that his existing customers always have a 5-star experience with him – so much so that they can confidently refer their friends, family and colleagues. There are fewer things more frustrating than trawling the internet for hours, reading Google reviews, looking for a trusted source of information before you take the plunge and make an appointment for a service that still may or may not go well! There’s really no need! Ask one of his customers to refer you – or read one of his 150 5 Star reviews if you really need written back up! This means that any referral made is going to land in a very safe pair of hands indeed. This is Steven’s offer if a referral is made and that person subsequently purchase any hearing devices, the referrer can choose from:
- Wine to the value of £50.00
- A £50.00 donation to the charity of your choice
- A £50.00 Marks and Spencer gift voucher
What are the benefits?
In keeping with Steven’s commitment to lifestyle enhancement, the three choices he has offered on this scheme are intended to show his gratitude to the referrer – and even to include a charity that the referrer would like to help with a donation. However, the benefits do not stop there. Think for a moment of the personal benefits to YOU if you have been so worried about a friend or relative that you make a referral, they then have a hearing assessment, and Steven is able to provide some life changing hearing help! All of a sudden, we have a new customer who can feel reassured, and enjoy being more safe, active and social, and the referrer can celebrate their caring side with one of the three rewards!
How do I make a referral?
In order to make a referral as an existing customer, how about chatting to Steven at one of your appointments, he’ll just ask you for the name and phone number of the person to contact, and possibly when is a good time for them to talk. Alternatively, you can email him and pass on the details of the person you wish to benefit from his expertise, or just call his number and explain that you would like to make a referral. Whatever method you choose, Steven would like to assure you that any information you do hand over will be treated in the strictest professional confidence, in accordance with his commitment to both excellent personal service and GDPR guidelines.
