“When we buy hearing aids, we tend to look for the cheapest, because they seem expensive, and so that’s naturally what we do! “The first – and most important – part of the process is the initial meeting and assessment. The importance of this encounter is rarely valued, but, when you consider that you will be acting solely on their advice, you should begin to realise it’s importance. Following this consultation, you will then be assessed and any hearing needs you have will be diagnosed – and explained to you. The next stage will be recommendations with regards to the best way to maximise your hearing potential. This will be drawn from a wide range of options – dependent upon your audiological loss and condition – and bearing in mind your lifestyle. Once options have been levied, you may be able to try an item before you buy, and then, should you decide to make a purchase, you will be introduced to Steven Hale Hearing’s after care package.”
“If we make a poor initial choice of Audiologist, who we will trust with our hearing loss or tinnitus issues, it may well cost us dearly, as I found out in the past. Years ago, I made a choice (NOT Steven Hale), and I then had to live with the imperfections and with mediocre service which at best was a daily niggle or at worse a complete disaster. The whole experience was so poor that I stopped using the hearing aids for as long in the day as I could, or stopped using them completely and concluded, “…it’s not really working for me…”.
