If any of you visit our website regularly, you cannot fail to have noticed some changes – all for the better, I must add! So, I thought it was high time to appraise you all, in a short article, on what has happened at Steven Hale Hearing recently.
Since starting Steven Hale Hearing in 2001, I have dreamed of being able to form a company that can offer diverse services, a range of specialist technicians and great appointment flexibility. Plans have been afoot for a while now, to bring these long-held dreams to fruition. Now is the time to let you in to my ‘behind the scenes’ work!
The first step I took was long before anyone had even heard the word ‘COVID’, as I embarked upon a search for larger premises. It was important to me that I stayed local to my client base for ease of accessibility, so I was fishing in a fairly small pool. Eventually, I did find a property that was in the same area and seemed to have everything I would need to embrace my planned expansion. Sadly – or luckily as I now think of it – all negotiations ground to a halt with the coming of the pandemic, but my ambition did not, as I put the word out that I was looking to grow the business and kept my fingers firmly crossed. It seems this simple gesture works, because before long Sutton Medical Centre offered me a much larger plot on the same site as my existing clinic. I was delighted as it incurred such negligible upheaval for me or my customers, so, once the decorators were in place, to re-brand the new office, I set about the next phase of growth – recruitment.
Finding new staff – team members – is a very precarious business indeed, as you need to ensure that they are knowledgeable, professional and compatible with my own standards of service and expertise. That being the case, it is my pleasure to now introduce you to Emma and Phil – and re re-acquaint you with the role of my wife Niki within the business.
Emma is an ear wax removal specialist with a background in A&E, Interventional Radiology and as a General Practice Nurse. She is fully qualified in Ear Micro-suction Procedures and has been performing ear irrigation since 2015.
Phil has been an Audiologist since 2001 and worked mainly within a busy NHS department. He is also a qualified Hearing Therapist.
Niki is officially our Customer Care Director at the forefront of ensuring that standards of customer care are consistently high and improved wherever possible.
Suffice it to say that Steven Hale Hearing is now an ambitious and committed team of four. Whilst we all have our own styles and skill areas, our original and on-going award-winning standards of care remain endemic in our service provision. You will see that the website now refers to “we” and “us” as opposed to “me”, in order that we maintain our cohesion and identity going forward.
Underpinning all of the above, however, is Steven Hale Hearing. A company dedicated to listening, understanding and addressing issues you have with your hearing health.
If you have any questions about our changes, or would like to book an appointment, please contact by mail or phone. WE very much look forward to seeing you soon.
