Steven Hale Hearing Sponsors Local Community Event

Well, here comes summer – and with it the ubiquitous festival season!

This year, more than possibly ever before, these gatherings are a real reason to get out and enjoy music, community and the spirit of humanity.

However, whilst events such as Glastonbury, or the Isle of Wight are not to everyone’s taste, that doesn’t mean we can’t get involved as there is much going on locally.

Take for example, the Little Astonbury Party in the Park.  You may not have heard of this musical extravaganza being held in Forge Lane, Little Aston on the 9th of July, but you might be glad to know now!

The ‘tag line” for the event is “Mamma Mia! Here we go again!…You will be Delilah-ted!” which gives a clear nod to the type of content that can be expected. Indeed, the line-up for 2022 includes bands such as the Abba Reunion Tribute Show, The Superskas, Benidorm Tom, Monkey Business and Chess Taylor, so one can only imagine the level of revelry to be enjoyed!

The Little Aston Party in the Park is a community-based family event where all proceeds raised are donated to the Little Aston Recreation Ground Charity. This is a small charity consisting of 14 trustees who meet on a monthly basis throughout the year.  Founded in 1977 – to celebrate the Queen’s silver jubilee would you believe – this “one off” event has now become an annual party. The recreation ground provides a green space for the local community to enjoy, and for wildlife to thrive.  The event is organised and run by a group of unpaid volunteers.

Why am I telling you this? Well, because of the irresistible ethos behind the event, we decided to sponsor it. It promises to be full of local Sutton Coldfield community, family of all ages, music, fun, friendship – a true celebration of life, and that falls perfectly in line with our values here at Steven Hale Hearing. The ability to be safe, active and social runs through everything that we do, so adding our backing to this event was extremely important to us.

So, if you do manage to go, perhaps you’ll spot our gazebo, and come and say “Hi”, and share your experience with us…and then perhaps we can all get ready for next year’s event nice and early!
